Yes, even infants should have their eyes examined by an Optometric Physician.  As a Pediatric Optometrist he has evaluated many infants (as young as newborn) to see that they are seeing shapes and are tracking with both eyes.  Eye exams at this age are not the rule but it’s good to know if the Pediatrician or family members suspect a problem (or if there is a strong history of early onset genetic eye diseases), Dr. Craig is there for you!
